When Yamaha launches a special edition model in India, it usually
doesn’t extend beyond new color options and decals. It’s no different
this time!
The Yamaha FZ-S Special Edition and the Yamaha Fazer Special Edition
are here to boost sales during the festive season. Both motorcycles
will be available in a new Battle Green color option along with some
aggressive decals.
The FZ series was introduced in 2008 and since then there has been no significant mechanical change, but cosmetic changes in the form of new color themes and decals were introduced.
The 153cc air cooled 4-stroke engine generates 14bhp and 13.6 Nm of
torque and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. No changes in this
department.
Talking about the new special edition motorcycles, Roy Kurian, Vice
President, sales and marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales, said -
